Waiver Process for 2006-2007 School Year

2. Process:

Chairperson and Assistant chairperson will read waiver requests at the administrative level and will make the initial decision.  Adverse decisions may be appealed to the Waiver Committee which functions as an ERB.  The initial request  must be in by TBD.  hearings will be held on TBD beginning at 10:00AM at Woburn High School.

3. Areas of Responsibility for the Waiver Committee:

   * Age                                               Rule # 60
   * Time allowed for participation            Rule # 59
   * Transfer                                  Rule # 57 (Form 200)
   * School membership                         Rule # 55
   * Bona fide team member                     Rule # 95

The Transfer rule requires a waiver if the Sending School Principal does not certify 7 a,b,c,d,e, & f on Form 200.  Appeals of any other rules would go to the MIAA.

4. Transfer---Form 200

As of July 1st, 2005 the MIAA will publish form 200 to be used for transfer students.  This form will be available on this website as of that date.
