Library Procedures
The library is a quiet, academic setting where students are encouraged to visit to do research, read, select books and study.

To use the library during study halls, students must come to the library and SIGN IN before the bell.  During periods 1 and 5 students must check in with their study hall teacher first before coming to the library (a five-minute grace period is given during these periods.)

Any student coming to the library from a class or a study after the bell has rung must have a PASS from the sending teacher.

Books may be borrowed for three weeks.  Renewals are encouraged if you need the materials longer than 3 weeks.  Fines are not charged, but we expect materials to be returned on time so other students may enjoy them.  Books selected for term papers will be given an extended due date with teacher permission.

Videos may be borrowed overnight with teacher permission.  Magazines do not circulate.

No food or drinks, please.  Water is allowed.

18 Internet-connected computers are available for school research and word processing.  Personal use and email are not allowed.  Students may not change any settings on the computers.  A copy machine is available for student use.
